NSCI’s Dr. Tom Kiehl is speaking about the role of neural stem cells in the adolescent brain, the effects of marijuana and alcohol, scientific approaches to studying brain development this Saturday, November 7, at the Science Teachers Association of New York State 120th Annual Conference.
Dr. Kiehl shares, “It is valuable for these educators to have a good understanding of the breadth of changes occurring in the adolescent brain. Just as valuable, is that these science teachers gain some insight into the growing importance of collaboration and communication across scientific disciplines that is required for modern science to advance.”
